Hotel Catering and Tourism Training Institute (HOTCATT) held an engaging session with their students to discuss essential topics and set the stage for future success. This meeting was a fantastic opportunity for students and faculty to come together and share their thoughts and strategies.



During the session, students and faculty collaboratively brainstormed strategies to enhance HOTCATT’s programs and services in the coming year. The goal is to ensure that the institution remains at the forefront of hospitality and tourism education. The meeting also provided a platform for open discussion on the challenges and issues that have arisen. Actionable plans were developed to address these issues as the new year begins.
In addition to addressing various issues, creative ideas were shared to improve the quality of teaching and learning at HOTCATT. These innovative approaches aim to foster a more engaging and effective educational environment.



Furthermore, the ambitious 5-year strategic plan was unveiled. This plan aims to transform HOTCATT into a leading institution for tourism and hospitality education in Ghana. Key elements of the plan include the introduction of new specialized courses, forging international partnerships, and enhancing training modules to align with industry trends.


Acting Director of HOTCATT, Eric Kofi Afornorpe, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaborative spirit and dedication of the HOTCATT community. He stated, “We are excited to embark on this journey together and look forward to a prosperous and impactful year ahead.”
