The Hotel, Catering and Tourism Training Institute (HOTCATT) proudly hosted a significant pre-meeting on January 23rd, 2025, to discuss the development of a comprehensive Halal Ecosystem and to explore potential collaboration between HOTCATT and BHCGHANA . Bureau of Halal Certification Ghana(BHCGHANA) is working in collaboration with the Halal Development Corporation Berhad of Malaysia, under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, towards building a comprehensive Halal Ecosystem in Ghana.
During the discussions, we explored potential avenues for collaboration, focusing on leveraging HOTCATT’s expertise in hospitality training to support the Halal industry. This collaboration promises to enhance our training modules and introduce new specialized courses, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Halal sector in Ghana.
