On 15th April 2026, the Hotel, Catering and Tourism Training Centre (HOTCATT) welcomed representatives from Injaro Investment Advisors Ltd. to its premises in Accra. The meeting followed a formal request from Injaro to explore potential collaboration on a nationwide skills development program for young women in the tourism and hospitality sector.

The Ag. Director of HOTCATT, Dr. Eric Kofi Afornorpe, together with key staff members, engaged in fruitful discussions with Injaro’s team. The proposed initiative seeks to train over 50,000 young women, including those with disabilities, with a strong focus on rural and peri-urban communities. The program’s goal is to equip participants with certified, industry-relevant skills that align with labor market needs, thereby supporting youth employment and inclusive economic growth in Ghana.
During the meeting, both parties explored areas of collaboration, with HOTCATT offering insights into training frameworks, certification processes, and industry linkages. The discussions highlighted the shared commitment of HOTCATT and Injaro to empower young women and strengthen Ghana’s hospitality and tourism workforce.
This engagement marks an important step towards building partnerships that advance vocational education and create sustainable opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
