HOTCATT recently welcomed representatives from the Sixth African Region Initiative (SARI) for a strategic technical meeting ahead of their upcoming conference. SARI delivered a presentation outlining key themes for the event, including vocational education, food safety, and youth development.
Held at HOTCATT’s campus, the meeting brought together experts from both institutions to discuss logistics, thematic areas, and stakeholder engagement strategies for the conference.


HOTCATT’s Ag. Mr. Eric Kofi Afornorpe, shared valuable input on aligning training programs with industry needs and emphasized HOTCATT’s readiness to support regional collaboration. He highlighted the importance of practical skills, cultural exchange, and stakeholder engagement in shaping Africa’s vocational future.


HOTCATT reaffirmed its commitment to supporting SARI’s vision by offering technical expertise, training resources, and visibility support. The dialogue also explored opportunities for joint workshops, student exchanges, and showcasing African culinary heritage on a global stage.
